After graduating with a BSc (hons) degree, Ian’s extensive corporate career in the U.K. spanned both Hospitality and Retail industries. Ian held senior management roles in TGI Fridays, Beefeater, and Argos before joining Greene King, where he was the National Divisional Director. This role entailed running 156 restaurants and 7 hotels and managing large teams of experts, in areas as diverse as Finance, Property, Marketing, Human Resources and Training. For the last decade Ian has owned and operated three businesses here in Australia, giving him a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges faced by owner/operators in the local market.
